The Playground is an essential part of the New York City dance scene. The Playground provides a platform for choreographers and dancers alike to engage in meaningful explorations that deepen our craft and enrich our creative potential; furthermore, our sessions create a valuable community space.

The Playground is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Your donations are fully tax-deductible, and makes our programs possible and our sessions and events accessible to all.

The Playground is proud to currently call Gibney Dance Center it's home. Gibney Dance offers us free space for our sessions and subsidizes our teachers' stipends, allowing us to expand and hold longer, more frequent sessions.

The Playground is made possible in part with public funds from the Manhattan Community Arts Fund, supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
